"Single leaf, 93 x 66 mm, with single column of 12 lines of a professional early gothic bookhand, capitals touched in red, red rubrics, one-line initials in gold on blue and dark pink grounds heightened with white penwork, one 3-line initial 'F' (opening ""Fidelium dominus omnium conditor "") in dark pink with white circles overlaid on its body, on angular blue and pink grounds with foliate extensions reaching far into the borders, and enclosing a spray of foliage emerging from the mouth of a long-necked drollery beast on gold grounds, another animal in penwork at head of page (perhaps a hare or a small dog), trimmed at edges with losses to border decoration there and the head of the penwork animal, scuffs to gold in places and small amount of discolouration, else fair and presentable condition"
