Illustrated with 150 small woodcuts, some repeated? representing scenes of the plays: these vignettes are copied from those of the Venetian edition of Scoto of 1545. Beautiful criblé initials. (cut short, some marginal staining, worming in blank bottom margin of last quire, tears in s1, x1, R3, T4). 18th-c. gilt leather, covers with gilt ruled frames and corner pieces, richly gilt spine with 5 raised bands and morocco label, a.e.g., marbled endpapers (sl. rubbed). Good copy
