Folio: [12]-340-[= 342]-[1, 1 bl.] pp. Woodcut printer's mark on title and a larger one at the end (two-tailed mermaid), with 1 half-page and 14 smaller woodcuts at the beginning of each 'Book'. Printed in 2 cols, with Ovid's text in larger type surrounded by notes in smaller type. (prelim. f. *6 bound at end between ff. Y3-4; some minor soiling, stain in upper half G6-H3, title underlaid, blank corners of final f. torn off and repaired, blank bottom corners of 3 initial ff. torn off and repaired, outer margin D1 strengthened with loss of a few letters, holes in final printer's mark). 19th c. vellum, flat spine with morocco label, red sp. edges (sl. soiled, top corners sl. bumped).
