Folio: [6]-CCXCVI [= 296] ff. Title printed in red and black within ornamental woodcut border. Small title-vignette, ill. with 12 woodcuts. Printed in 2 cols with Horace's texts in larger type. Beautiful woodcut initials. (cut short occasionally shaving headlines or printed marginalia, some toning, soiling and dampstaining, bottom corner of final f. torn off with loss of a few letters, sm. holes in final f.). Contemp. limp vellum, flat spine titled in ink, vellum ties (sl. soiled, ties partly gone). Good copy
