Two leaves, each with single column of 11 lines of an early gothic bookhand, with pronounced angularity, but without biting curves, some capitals notably tall and thin, with music in neumes arranged around a red Clef-line, capitals touched in red, rubrics and small initials in red, one large initial 'S' (""Saulus ad huc spirans minarum ..."", for Feast of Conversion of St. Paul) in red with small diamond-shapes left in blank vellum in its body, recovered from reuse in a later binding and with damaged edges, small holes, cockled and discoloured areas, overall fair condition, each leaf approximately 290 by 190mm
