Single leaf, with a half-page high initial 'H' (opening ""Here Ihesu Christe wi aebeten ..."") in blue with white brushwork overlaying flowers and foliage, enclosing sprays of coloured foliage and all on a burnished gold ground, a full decorated border comprising coloured and gold text bars on three sides surrounded by hairline foliage terminating in gold leaves and seedpods, and enclosing coloured flowerheads (three large examples in bas-de-page), small initials in red and blue, capital touched in red, 17 lines of angular gothic bookhand, gold and paint scuffed in places, slightly trimmed at edges (affecting edges of borders), small spots and stains, else in good and bright condition, 134 by 95mm; in modern wooden frame (so reverse of leaf not examined)
