Two rectangular cuttings, with almost an entire leaf from a large Bible in de luxe format (line height 12mm), double column of 24 lines of ornate and angular bookhand, with notable lateral compression, capitals touched in red, red rubrics and simple red initial, large initials in blue enclosing and encased within ornate red penwork, medieval folio no. 'cccxlii', remnants of catchword at foot, recovered from reuse on a later limp vellum binding and hence folds, marks, small holes, paper adhering and other signs of wear, overall fair condition, together: 410 by 255mm
