Rare Edingen prize binding with on covers gilt central Arenberg arms with device 'Dat Prosper Natus 1785'. This device was stamped on the prize books awarded. In 1785 on occasion of the birth of Prosper Lodewijk van Arenberg (1785-1861), son of the 'Blind Duke' Lodewijk Engelbert (1750-1820) and father of the famous bibliophile Duke Engelbert August (1824-1875).
