First edition by the Flemish humanist Daniel Eremita (Antwerp 1584-1613 Livorno), secretary to the Duke of Florence. The text was communicated to the Dutch scholar Graevius (1632-1703) by the Florentine librarian, scholar and bibliophile Antonio Magliabecchi (1633-1714). It is followed by some panegyrical texts and by 2 travel accounts, to Germany with Emperor Rudolph (1st ed. 1637), and to Switzerland (1st ed. 1627)
