Single leaf, 186 by 122mm, with single column of 26 lines of lettre bâtarde, rubrics in faded red, one- and 2-line initials in blue or brown edged in gold on contrasting grounds, line-fillers in same, each side with a full decorated border of grey and silver acanthus leaves and other foliage, all heightened in gold and within two thin gold bars, and enclosing a realistic flying bird, some marks at edges from old mounting, else good condition
