Single leaf, 168 by 124 mm, with single column of 16 lines of a professional and rounded late gothic bookhand, capital in ornate penstrokes, red rubric, one-line initials in alternate red or blue with contrasting penwork, one large initial 'A' in pink, enclosing stylised red and green leaves on coloured grounds, the edges of the initial producing long pink and green tendrils reaching into margin and terminating in sprays of mirrored gold foliage, slightly trimmed at edges with small losses to uppermost part of one tendril, slightly darkened at edges, else excellent condition
